Aerial Photography

Whether you are in the business of renting cabins, selling houses and land, or marketing an entire vacation resort or development, there aerial photography certainly can help you accomplish your goals. Here in eastern Tennessee, the obvious platform for photographing properties from the air is clearly the helicopter. They can flow low and slow, and can safely get you into places that would be very difficult to get into with a traditional airplane. The downside is that helicopters are expensive. They cost a lot to purchase and are expensive to operate. At the current prices (early 2008), it costs around $325 to just charter a flight from the heliport to Pigeon Forge, make a couple of slow passes, and fly straight back to the heliport. If you have a camera you could rent a helicopter and shoot your own aerial photos. You may get want you need, or you may not. If you consider the cost of the helicopter, you may want to hedge your bets and hire a professional who has the knowledge and experience to ensure that you get the shot you need the first time out.

If you have a property or project that needs an aerial photography, I can help you decide if the shot you need is is feasible before renting an expensive helicopter. If it looks possible, I can then figure out the logistics and get the shot with a minimum amount of flight time required.
